21st Annual 48hrs of Tristate. Jan 13-16, 2022.

2022 will be the 21st consecutive year that we will be holding The 48hrs of Tristate Annual Charity Drive. This annual group drive includes about 1,000 miles of driving spread over 3 days.

Not only is this trip an amazing way to see the scenic winterscapes but it is an opportunity for you to help give back to the community. All registrants are required to sign up through our link to Make-A-Wish New Jersey, a charity which makes “wishes” for children with life threatening medical conditions. The donations you make to MAW act as your “entry fee” for the event. They are also tax deductible!

There are all different folks who attend the trip, young adults, families, retirees, you name it, if they enjoy Subarus they are there. We caravan in groups of 10-15 cars and communicate from car to car via CB radios. People share stories during the trip and many folks have made lifelong friends through the past events. It is truly an amazing way folks bond together!

Due to Covid-19, we’ll be having smaller morning meetings with just our group leaders this year to keep the social distancing and help prevent the spread of Covid-19.  As in 2021, If you or people in your household remain at high risk, we encourage you to consider your and their safety before deciding to join us or at the very least take all the precautions necessary.  Remember this is the 21st Annual Trip, we will be back at it again next year if you can’t make it this year.

Kickoff this year is planned for Thursday evening at a Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Central New Jersey ( Near Make-A-Wish) and then Friday Night in the State College Area and Saturday Night in the Pittsburgh Metro area.

We will begin our Charity Drive at the Courtyard by Marriott in the Banquet Hall on Friday morning followed by a trip through the scenery and back roads of Pennsylvania from Friday afternoon through Sunday.

Closing dinner sponsored by Liberty Subaru at Copperhead Grille in Center Valley, Bethlehem, PA.
